I am the founder and Managing Director of Experiential Travel and Chairman of the advertising agency, DPR&Co, a member of the worldwide AMIN network.
My corporate career included Partnership in the world’s leading consulting firm, Accenture, where I was the Managing Partner of a $100 million subsidiary. After retiring from Accenture, I joined the Board of DPR&Co and also founded an independent consulting firm with another former Accenture Partner.
We sold that consulting firm 12 years later. My strengths are in Governance, Marketing, Technology and Creativity. I was recently awarded a Bachelor of Photography, majoring in Photojournalism.
My experience qualifies me to make a valuable contribution to the transformation of the global travel industry. We need to:
1. Adapt our offerings and channels to the New Real.
2. Adapt our governance models to assure delivery of promises. (Especially regarding safety.)
3. Develop compelling marketing messages to sell the new/adapted offerings into the new/adapted channels. These “to-do’s” precisely fit my strengths in Governance, Marketing, Technology and Creativity.
