I am a journalist, I worked for 25 years at O Globo newspaper and website in Brazil, first as a travel reporter and in the past years as assistant editor to the Travel Supplement and web site. I have an MBA degree in Tourism, Hotel Management (FGV-RJ) and I am currently a post-graduate student (master degree) at the Tourism Post-Graduation Programme at Universidade Federal Fluminense (PPGTur-UFF). My field of interest in Tourism is focused on Tourism Economy, Overtourism; and Destination and Tourism Communication and Promotion on Digital Media, including Social Media.
I think I can contribute in doing research, collecting and processing information about the future of travel and tourism, considering the social media. Considering the ways the industry was affected by the pandemic and how the destinations are planning to use social media.
