2. I have succeeded in growing businesses both in Sub Saharan Africa and in the UK. At DHL led team to achieve over 30% revenue growth & over 60% market penetration in direct customer retail sales.
3. I have an in-depth understanding of the Industry & African Markets, the key developments that will affect business over the next 10 years as I have worked closely on the Africa Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) both at policy & adoption levels. The 3 years working closely with Africa Union’s Economic Affairs & Trade has given me experience useful for organizations seeking market penetration into Africa.
I think digital marketing with stories, photos and videos is going to be the key is changing the African Narrative to reach out to people all over the world, change & impact their perceptions. In addition building the Intra-Africa & domestic tourism is crucial to recovery.
