Michael Estwanik, Searchlights, LLC, CA, USA

I have many years as a corporate and social event planner which has brought me to 80 countries and 49 states. I started as a DMC in Lake Tahoe/Reno, then incentives and corporate conferences with MCI Planners in Dallas, CMI/Carlson in San Francisco, McGettigan Partners in Philadelphia, then Maritz in St. Louis.

I started my own company in 1996, Searchlights LLC, in NYC and now in Ojai, CA which is only an hour 20 minutes, NW of Los Angeles. Among my corporate clients have been McCann-Erickson, Prudential, Essilor Lenses (Varilux/Transitions), Google, Apple, American Urological Association, Guardian Insurance, UniPro Food Service, etc.

I also have a division of Searchlights, LLC called JAUNTs (Journeys for All Us Nice Travelers), for which I design and lead small exclusive educational groups around the world e.g. Myanmar, Vietnam/Cambodia, Thailand, Peru, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Morocco, Slovenia/Croatia, Paris/Normandy, New Orleans.

I served on the Monaco Government Advisory Board for Tourism for seven years. I am known for my creative programs which also utilize my personal connections around the world. This makes them truly unique experiences.

I am thinking of every possible way to rebuild travel, but I realize we are all dependent now upon scientists, medical leaders, and true political leaders (at which our current federal government fails).

I have not had any programs run for the past few years for health reasons, and just as I was recovering (and am now in 100% excellent health as of last fall), the virus hit. So I am not able to afford the $100 fee.
