As founder and president of SOLENTINAME TOURS – Discover Nicaragua I implement and promote for more than 20 years good practice concepts of economic, socio-cultural, and ecological sustainability for my tourism company, business spheres, and public sector, working with all types of organizations, national, multinational and SMEs. In 2012 I created the recognized “Nicaragua Tourism Map – Sustainable Traveling” and in 2017 Rainforest Alliance granted our company as Sustainable Tourism Leader for outstanding performance and meaningful contribution to promoting sustainable tourism. In 2013 I was elected president of TOPS Nicaragua (Tour Operators Promoting Sustainability) and became in 2019 founder president of “Forest for Biosphere”. We are a proud member of the Adventure Travel Trade Association since 2008 and Arbeitsgemeinschaft Lateinamerika.

I think that #rebuildingtravel should focus on promoting sustainable tourism products that consumers be able to find easy these healthier products which protect us all better, contributes to local communities, conserve biodiversity and give clients a more secure and enriching experience. I am convinced that experience nature, feeling that we are part of it, and loving it helps us to be better human beings.
