Brian Frontin, CEO TTHTI Trinidad & Tobago

Mr. Brian Frontin is the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Trinidad Hotels, Restaurants & Tourism Association (THRTA) and the Trinidad and Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute (TTHTI). He has been at the helm of the THRTA for the past four (4) years.

Mr. Frontin also works closely with various local & regional tourism bodies and business stakeholders in the formulation and implementation of strategic programs and solutions within the Tourism industry. He is currently the President of the Caribbean Society of Hotel Association Executives (CSHAE) and also represents Trinidad & Tobago on the Board of the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association (CHTA). He also previously served on the Board of Directors of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO).

Mr. Frontin previously enjoyed a successful career in banking and corporate business development with solid experience as an architect of financial and business solutions, tailored to meet the complex needs of major local and international companies. Industries served over a decade in key roles at both CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank and First Citizens Bank, include: Energy & Petrochemicals, Tourism & Hospitality, Light Manufacturing, Fleet management, Transportation, Food & Restaurant and Construction.

Mr. Frontin is an Accredited Director with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (Canada) and a Certified Mediator with the Mediation Board of Trinidad and Tobago.

Mr. Frontin holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) Management Studies (Special) from the University of the West Indies (UWI) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Business from EMERITUS Institute of Management (Singapore) in collaboration with MIT Management Executive Education and Columbia Business School Executive Education. He is also currently completing a M.Sc. in Strategic Leadership & Management, at UWI.
